The ship’s computer was glitchy yesterday, so no music, and accordingly, no music to report. This happens about every 6 months or so, and I am getting used to it. But that was OK because, WOW, we could have easily talked for a couple more hours. Music would have got in the way! And I hardly ever think that this is a possibility.
I had Camrynne Sullivan and Alana Shepherd on, talking about SPACE QUEERS – their comedy show which will take place this Thursday in the basement of Lucky You Lounge. We talked about why LGBTQ people make good stand-ups, the differences between queer and straight audiences, and other fun stuff. We talked about some serious issues too, like the violent fascist response to gay safe spaces and their hatred of seeing LGBTQ people involved in a community’s daily life.
