A great conversation yesterday with Dana Sammond, Alex Berry and Zane Bresko. They got us all up to speed on Shakespeare Beyond Words. This production at Civic Theater is also a part of Spokane Falls Community College’s American Sign Language certification process. Signers will be doing their work for the hearing-impaired at this production. Nineteen scenes from Shakespeare’s work will be featured. We talked about how hard it is for folks with hearing impairment to enjoy most theater productions, how signers are essentially performers and what a cool thing that is!
