We had Morgan Walters in the studio. Morgan is one of the co-founders of M.A.D Co Lab Studios. We talked about how the studio came to be and what this studio and gallery means to a lot of artists who are marginalized in our community. We talked about how people can get involved there, what the studio offers. We touched upon Morgan’s history as an artist and what art does for the health of the artist and the community.
It was also “Giving Tuesday,” and I read an announcement about that asking for donations for KYRS. The copy that I read had the in-studio number listed, which probably works well for those shows which just play music! But, I was unable to break from talking with my guest to talk to the people who called to donate. My apologies.
