I had a great conversation with Melody Chang Heaton. Melody is involved in so many worthwhile endeavors. Melody is the marketing director for Inland Northwest Opera. She’s and actor, singer, costumer, philanthropist (Chang Heaton Scholarship for Music Excellence). Since October, she has been the executive director of the Asian Opera Alliance. Melody is also the President of the Board for Communities in Schools of Spokane County. We talked about Asian representation in opera, her scholarship program, The Inland NW Opera and Communities in Schools of Spokane County. SHE IS A DYNAMO!!!! What a fun conversation!
