A recorded conversation with Sam Nixon about Free Mom Hugs. Free Mom Hugs is an organization of moms, dads, grandparents who show up at events where kids have been rejected by their parents because they have come out as L, G, B or T. They give out free hugs and it is amazing and moving to watch the actual effects of compassion and acceptance sink in.
We also talked a little about taking care of oneself and being healthy and how compassion is a big part of physical health. We focused on Sam’s journey of health and she offered to help others down this road.
