Northwest Fire Prevention Team
Protecting our communities begins with all of us, and the Northwest Fire Prevention Team is helping lead that effort across the Pacific Northwest. This dedicated team of wildfire prevention specialists brings together expertise in community wildfire adaptation, public education, communications, youth outreach, and wildfire mitigation to help prevent human-caused wildfires before they start. By working directly with communities during periods of heightened fire danger, they provide practical information, local outreach, and educational resources that help keep people, homes, forests, and public lands safe.
