New Program Spotlight: The Voice of Culture

Voice Of Culture

“The Voice of Culture: Championing Racial Equality and Social Justice” is dedicated to exploring, celebrating, and advocating for African American culture. Hosted by Asia DeWitt-Nicholas, this talk show delves deep into the rich tapestry of African American heritage, from its profound historical roots to its vibrant contemporary expressions. Each episode is a journey through African American history, highlighting the triumphs, struggles, and enduring resilience of a community that has shaped the very fabric of American society. From pivotal moments in the Civil Rights Movement to contributions in the arts, sciences, and beyond, “The Voice of Culture” amplifies the voices and narratives that too often go unheard.

Through interviews, discussions and storytelling, the show sheds light on the diverse array of experiences within the African American community. It explores themes of identity, belonging, and empowerment, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for the complexities of the African American experience. At its core, “The Voice of Culture” is committed to championing racial equality and social justice. It serves as a platform for meaningful dialogue, advocacy, and activism, addressing pressing issues such as systemic racism, inequality, and injustice. By amplifying the voices of activists, scholars, and community leaders, the show inspires listeners to take action and work towards a more just and equitable society for all.

Tune in and join the conversation, Mondays at 3PM on Thin Air Community Radio, as we honor the past, embrace the present, and shape the future together.
