We opened our discussion with articles about satellite forecasting of small volcanic eruptions, and keeping sky scrapers cool during the hot summers by looking at termites. After break we focused on multiple articles about brain science, both robots as well as algae cells and their relationship with lights, as well as applications of these sensors in humans. Lastly, we mentioned one last article about Hawking’s area law as it applies to black holes, and current research being conducted on the topic.
