On yesterday’s show, I had Alana J Shepherd, Sarah Junette Dahmen and Hazel Bean on to talk about Stage Left Theater’s production of Minister of Sorrow. The show is opening this weekend. This play won the 2023 Appalachian Playwriting Festival. It’s the moving story of Emma, a pack saddle librarian in the 1930s who travels across Appalachia to deliver books to patrons.
