A far-ranging and meandering chat with Matt Danielson, the executive director of Pride Spokane. We talked about all the events Pride is doing this month and how it was for Matt to help out with different Pride festivals this year. So many of these festivals were in small towns, and for some places this was their first Pride celebration. I also gave a sneak peak into a video project that I have been a part of. It’s called “Running For My Life – Spokane.” The project really underscores the importance of voting in this up-coming election, in light of the traitorous and almost-fatal attack on our democracy by Trump-cult domestic terrorists. I played one of the audio-adapted episodes. This audio series will be featured on KYRS and, hopefully, on other Pacifica Broadcasting feeds, as well.
