A very delightful and moving conversation with Station Manager Michael Moon Bear, KYRS board member Carol Ellis, Travis Dickinson – Chef/Owner of Cochinito Taqueria and Rick Clark – founder of Giving Back Spokane. We talked about the partnership that has formed with KYRS, Cochinito and Giving Back Spokane. During the Fall Pledge Drive, for every new $39 KYRS membership, Cochinito Taqueria will provide a free meal to someone in need through Giving Back Spokane.
I enjoyed hearing the origin stories of Cochinito Taqueria and Giving Back Spokane and how they originally partnered up. I gotta say, there was a lot of choking up, but also a lot of laughs. If you missed this show, it’s worth a listen. Here’s the link:
