This was an edited version of last year’s Christmas special. I felt like I need to talk about the reason why “Misfits” was swapped out for “Fame and Fortune” in the Christmas Special Rudolph (antiauthoritarianism losing out to capitalism). Funny, because all DVDs made from the special were copied off of the original version, which in the first year featured “Misfits.” Accordingly all the broadcast specials now use this DVD version, so most folks wouldn’t even recognize “Fame and Fortune” as being in the canon. So, I had to cut off the original ending. I also took out one song that I played last year.
To quote Sam the Snowman “Ah, such is the way of an elf.”
