This show casts a spotlight on the Native Arts and Film Festival which took place last week in Spokane. Featured artists were Warren Realrider (aka TickSuck) and WEEDRAT.
Warren is a multi-disciplinary Native American sound artist. After an opening piece by Warren, a two-part interview was conducted. These interviews had sound from his album Comas laid under them. Those pieces are listed above. After that, two songs were played by WEEDRAT – (Becki, Greg and Adrian) a Native American punk rock group. Between these two songs (listed above), there’s an interview with the band discussing the philosophy behind their music.
