The summer reading program at Spokane Public Library, A Universe of Stories, is happening now until August 31st. All ages are welcome and admission is open. You can enroll at http://spl.northwestreads.org/
Drop In and Read is another community program. First and Third Tuesday of each month, 3:30pm. At Spark Central 1214 W Summit Pkwy. Admission is also open. For grades 1- 8.
The Spokesman Review spoke with librarians and other members of the community to brainstorm ideas that would help inspire reluctant readers.
