Laura and Mike interviewed Dr. Richard Orndorff, Geology Professor at EWU and today in our special 2 hour show. We discussed dams – how many there are, when dams were first built, why they were built and challenges of building dams. We talked about the difficulties in building the Hoover dam, the problems dams cause for salmon, how dams are impacted by drought and why some dams should be removed to recover wildlife, fish and Indigenous lands. We also did our two underwriting announcements, two announcements about the upcoming Gala Auction, and four station ID’s.
