Troublingly, none of these statements reflect the facts. Millions of people in the US alone live with ADHD, and while it is a commonly occurring neurological conditions, it is also one of the most commonly misunderstood. This week, Federica delves into myths and facts about ADHD and theories about why the disorder is so poorly understood. Federica also shared her personal experience of being diagnosed with ADHD as an adult and reflects on how misinformation about the condition creates additional challenges for individuals living with adult ADHD.
