Earth Matters Now September 22, 2026

Laura and Mike interviewed Kirsten Angell and Jeff Lambert of SUN, Spokane Urban Nature. We discussed the Thorpe property, land use issues that are impacting natural areas in Spokane and the Spokane Plan 2026. Problems with the Spokane Municipal Code were discussed and who was responsible. Loss of natural areas in many parts of the city, including the Latah Valley and along the Spokane River were discussed. We did our 2 underwriters announcements and three station ID’s.
