I hung out with my wife Sarah and we played some holiday song parodies and some novelty songs that I really like! We live under a political regime that is so over-the-top criminal, stupid, evil and narcissistic, that it is almost impossible to do anything parodical or satirical about them. But, we still have holiday music parodies and fun novelty songs. In my opinion, they are not song parodies about Christmas or Hanukkah or Kwanza, but about how we (or others) have worked hard to go in the opposite direction of what these holidays (in a religious or secular fashion) call us to be. They are parodies about our response. If we keep going at this rate, the ghosts of Christmas – Past, Present and Future will be seen as evil, “woke” entities that caused Scrooge to abandon his dedication to financial profit. Huzzah!
