I had Friends of the Bluff’s Trevor Finchamp on the show to talk about Brush on the Bluff. Brush on the Bluff is Spokane’s largest (only?) plein air painting event. It’s also a fun festival for the whole family with many booths and food from Feast World Kitchen.
The event begins at 10 am on Saturday, May 18th at Polly Judd Park (Basically it’s the very west end of 14th Ave before it dead ends overlooking Vinegar Flats).
You can walk along the beautiful trails starting from Polly Judd, and check out 36 artists painting, sculpting and making art inspired by the surroundings of the beautiful bluffs overlooking Latah Valley. If you like something you see, you can bid on it. I will be set up right at the trail at the end of 15th. When my painting gets auctioned off, the proceeds will be split four ways between the The Botanical Alchemists, Friends of the Bluff, Stage Left Theater and KYRS Thin Air Community Radio.
