This show was supposed to be an interview with Jeremy Whittington and Troy Nickerson. We were going to discuss the upcoming play that Stage Left is producing – Corpus Christi, but someone in the cast just found out they were Covid positive. Accordingly, everyone was quarantining – including Jeremy and Troy!
Soooo, the clock was ticking and I put together a show remembering David Bowie’s recent birthday and deathday. Interspersed with DB songs were interviews I had with folks that I thought Bowie would like.
I got a little flustered when “I’m Afraid of Americans” would not play and I forgot to play the 40-minute-mark PSA, Vehicle Donation and Show promo spots which I had cued up and ready to go but didn’t go. Dang.
What I hope will be a long-running series of political observations – Jen Ryedour’s Tower of Sourdough Flower premiered this day. Huzzah.
