Today’s show was a discussion around the upcoming Stage Left play AN ILIAD. The play premiers this Friday and runs through the weekend. It’s Stage Left’s first live in-theater performance since the pandemic.
Susan Hardie, David Casteal and Robert Tombari were on hand to talk about the play. Wonderful scenes were performed with Susan directing, Robert as the poet, and David accompanying on drum or finger piano. Paul J Watts sat in for a little soundboard familiarization. Paul will be DJing KYRS’s Queer Sounds soon. It was so much fun, so inspiring and beautiful to be with these four folks. If you want to hear some great performances and some fantastic music, please go to the archives and take a listen. WHAT FUN!!!!!
Yesterday’s show also celebrated Giving Tuesday! We had an awesome $100 donation from Brenda. THANK YOU!!! And if Giving Tuesday is still kicking around in your heart, please consider KYRS. We love to give you great programming every day and are grateful to be a part of your lives!
ART transforms lives for the better. Spokane becomes a more beautiful and loving place with every brushstroke, every drum beat, every word of every performance, every scratch of a poet’s pen, every guitar lick, every dance move… You get the idea! THANK YOU!!!!
