Learn the basic skills needed to record and edit audio for podcast and radio production. KYRS Program Director Dana Matthews will cover the hardware and software needs to get you up and running and introduce the techniques to help you create professional sounding spoken word audio recordings. Upon completion of the workshop, participants are eligible to submit a completed one-hour recording for consideration to be broadcast on KYRS Thin Air Community Radio. This workshop is aimed at individuals with little or no audio editing experience and uses the audio editing software “Reaper”. Monthly on the fourth Friday from 1:00 to 3:00 PM in the Podcast Studio, Spokane Central Library.
