Some LGBTQ people like to garden. Some like to dance. Others like to fly airplanes, draw, paint, run, fish, hunt, read, act, sing, bowl or build sheds. Some LGBTQ people are astronauts. Some are firefighters, grocers, contractors, activists, plumbers, students, musicians, policy makers, bakers, writers, accountants or zookeepers.

You know gay people. You know trans people. You know bi people and lesbian people. You might just not know that you know them. You know?

Out and About introduces you to your LGBTQ friends, neighbors and allies through their stories, their art, their creations and their work.

The world seems to have become more divisive and angry. Lies are often embraced for a fleeting comfort. Join me, Captain Maeve, for Out and About every Tuesday at 4 pm. Fueled by truth, unity and good cheer, we’ll set a course for inclusion and hope.

If you’re out, what are you about? Let’s thrive together.

Interesting analysis of the Dave Chapelle special! Love the music—reminds me of my time in the Surete—Jacques was very close to me.
