SOS-Spokane!

With all of the news and social media swirling around us, it can be difficult to escape the distractions and find a place to sit back and sift through what is happening right here and now. That is where James McMillian comes in. James is the co-host of SOS-Spokane, a staunchly progressive hour-long news and public affairs program airing weekly on KYRS. SOS-Spokane addresses critical issues facing the Inland Northwest via research, in-depth news, information, analysis, and reasoned opinion. Its format includes conversations, interviews, debates, and presentations. Invited guests are topical experts, activists, advocates, civic leaders, public servants, journalists and authors, newsmakers, whistleblowers, muckrakers, artists, academics, and informed citizens.

The aim of SOS-Spokane is to illuminate and dialogue the pressing local and regional, and occasionally specific national and/or international concerns of our KYRS listeners. Tune in to SOS-Spokane every Thursday at 1PM on KYRS, Thin Air Community Radio. 88.1 & 92.3FM, and streaming live at KYRS.org.
