Layali Arabia (Arabian Nights) showcases some of the finest music that has been produced or inspired by Arabs from across the globe. Every Monday from 4-5 PM KYRS listeners will have the opportunity to hear Arabic songs from a multitude of different genres including but not limited to: hip hop, reggae, indie, metal, folk, pop, electronic, oriental jazz and some of the greatest classics to come out of the Arab World. From the traditional, to the political and obscure, these songs are guaranteed to enlighten and inspire our listeners every week.

In addition to an excellent music line up, Layali Arabia will also keep listeners apprised of local events and news pertaining to Arab culture throughout the Inland Northwest. We strive to provide surrounding communities with informative interviews and discussions with local Arab residents, professors and others who are interested in Arab culture and music. Our priority is breaking down stereotypes and creating a greater understanding of Arabs both at home and abroad.

As an added bonus listeners will have the chance to learn and practice new Arabic words and phrases every week, we’ll also be sharing stories, jokes and tasty recipes.
