WOW, did we ever have a FUN evening last Saturday, when Babs, Sharo and Myself, along with a few hundred of our closest friends, went to the ultimate ‘Battle of The Bands Show‘ at The Fox Theater!!!!!!!
“Beatles vs. Stones – A Musical Showdown”

Anyway, in addition to both bands, the highlight of the evening was the accompanying ‘Mead High School String Quartet’!!!!! Thats right, our hometown high school quartet did good… preforming with both bands on songs like “Eleanor Rigby,” “A Day in the Life,” “Hello Goodbye,” “Hey Jude,” “Gimme Shelter,” and “Ruby Tuesday.” Needless to say, these four wonderful musicians quite literally STOLE THE SHOW!!!!! (stay tuned to further episodes of ‘The Vinyl Hour’, as I hope to interview the quartet and share it with you ALL…
