Today we talked with John Lemus, the Commission chair for the Spokane Human Rights Commission. We had talked a bit about who he was, and where he came from. The topics that we touched up on is how can Advocates and Social workers make a difference with their causes. We also touched up on the subjects of the 14c certification that permits business’s to pay a sub standard wage to those who are disabled. The sit and lie law and anti panhandling ordinances here in Spokane were also discussed.
