Today we had Rick Bocook with us in the studio, affectionately called Harpman Hatter here in Spokane. Rick, is a street performer, chalk artist, and advocate for those that live on the streets. We had a nice conversation about who he is, and why he is most often targeted by others for harrassment. We also had a conversation as to why it is important to have a voice, and to use that voice in defense of others, and yourself. Coupled with the fact that KYRS is doing our spring fund drive made for a great show. KYRS gives a voice to the underserved. It is important to support media vehicles such as KYRS.
Special thanks to Jenn from the KYRS talk show F-Yes for visiting us in the studio to help me with my first fund raiser.
Sorry for not using my normal show promo/intro. Our automation computer is still being worked on, as it gave us trouble last week and well, as I was told, gave out on us.
