Dancing Crow Media‘s Joe & Rosie Comine visited us in-studio for the hour. As their website states: “Our plan is to engage the public on social and environmental justice issues using informative and entertaining narratives.” Our discussion touched on their documentary about locals traveling to Iran entitled From Spokane With Love, their work with young video artists, their films on the dangers of oil & coal trains passing through downtown Spokane and across the Spokane River, and how this issue is part and parcel of carbon’s overarching threat to life on this planet. They also expressed insights into allowable protest, and discussed their narrative fictional work.
