It’s less than a week to go before the midterm elections. Today we announced the KYRS Election Day Special, airing 4-10PM next Tuesday, November 6. We then touched on firearm auction sales by the Spokane Police Department, Spokane Valley State Representative Matt Shea and his controversial outline entitled “Biblical Basis for War”, money in politics, as well as other election substructure issues. Then we spoke over the phone with Spokane citizen activist Tom Robinson concerning The City’s proposed purchase of a Bearcat armored vehicle, the militarization of the police department and updates on a range of local homeless concerns.
