The non-profit organization SNAP was founded in Spokane fifty-two years ago. Its mission is to increase the human potential of our community by providing opportunities for people in need. SNAP provides low income homeowner assistance, homeless programs, outreach, classes—close to three dozen programs altogether. Our guests were Shawna Sampson, Homeless Services Operations Coordinator and Kristi Sherlock, Home Improvement Program Operations Coordinator for SNAP. Our discussion touched on a wide range of issues pertinent to the programs they lead.
