Headlines this week: High demand, prompting investigation involving Pardons made by former Kentucky Governor, Matt Bevin, reaches The State Capitol, Back in May, The City of Spokane implemented a program to aid clean up efforts of illegal camping, as well as deprie and waste on city grounds. The program was originally intended to be temporary. Since launcining, the interdepartmental team that oversees project cleanup, has responded to 972 reports of illegal camping and removed 152,000 pounds of trash and debris.
The program is now in the process of gaining extension of funds.
