We discussed the effects of moral panics throughout history. We touched on witch-hunts while discussing the film Haxan, and focused a large part of the show on the Satanic Panic of the 1980’s. We talked about legal and social ramifications of the panic, as well as the effect on the image of psychotherapy as it relates to the retrieval of memories.
