During this episode, Jen and I talked about the tradition of brunch on Mother’s Day (as it relates to feminist/suffragist history) and spoke about cultural appropriation- what it is, how to avoid it, how to appreciate cultures in a respectful way, etc. We also talked about the history of Cinco de Mayo and respectful and educational ways in which to celebrate it.
