Laura and Mike interviewed Dr Lauren Stachowiak and Dr. Matthew Anderson, who are both professors at Eastern Washington University. The interview lasted for nearly two hours.  We discussed planning for housing, transportation, the challenges with zoning and issues related to fire in the Wildland Urban Interface including evacuation and lack of infrastructure in the Latah Valley of west Spokane.  We discussed housing costs, impacts on homelessness and potential solutions based on how European cities are built.  We did five Station ID’s, the first one at 12;00 PM, as well as one at 1:00 PM and three others.
