Current offerings:
1. Dia de los Muertos Sugar Skull
Location- Polly Judd park, above our stone labyrinth
Date- today, tomorrow, till the snow falls
Our third annual Sugar Skull is an offering to our community as part of the Mexican traditions of Dia de los Muertos. Her name is Margarita (which means ‘Daisy’ in Spanish) and she is made from fresh flowers and stone. We invite you to visit Margarita in her freshest, and we invite you to watch her in the weeks to come as she decomposes back into Earth.
We are inspired by the Mexican traditions surrounding Dia de los Muertos and feel Margarita has much to teach about life and death.
2. ‘I’m a little Teapot’
Location- River Park Square
Date-today through November 22nd
A vibrant floral art sculpture, as part of an ongoing, ever changing art commission at River Park Square. Take yourself downtown and enjoy a burst of color and joy. This months creation is a celebration of color and abundance.
3. Indoor Nature Art showing and Fundraiser
Date- November 20th from 5-9
Location- The Wonder Building
Join us as we host our first fundraising event at the Wonder Building. We are constructing an incredible indoor botanical art sculpture to share with you. There will be refreshments available, local musical talent, stunning art and good conversation. Hope to see you there!
