Host Taylor Weech shares two recent interviews with two different critics of the death penalty in this show.
The first interview is with Becky O’Neil McBrayer, a speaker with Murder Victims Families for Reconciliation (MVFR) and Oregonians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty (OADP) about her story of murder tearing her family apart and how she finds hope for an end to the violent cycle of capital punishment through doing abolition work.
The second is with John Thamm, a Spokane-based fine artist whose latest project “The Opinion Box” provides an interactive meditation on the violence of the death penalty and an opportunity for viewers to participate by sharing their opinion on capital punishment.
