You know, libraries are usually pretty quiet places. But on August 8th, that’s going to change. Because KYRS is bringing you Get Loud (and Drink Beer) in the Library.
The doors open at 6:30, and the music starts at 7PM, at the KYRS Studios in the Central Library, 906 West Main in Spokane.
Featuring The Johnson Brothers Blues Band, award-winning, soulful, guitar-driven blues from right here in Spokane.
And The Bobby Patterson Band. Bobby Patterson is an award-winning blues guitarist, vocalist, performer, and songwriter. In fact, the Inland Empire Blues Society has named him Best Blues Guitarist, Best Male Blues Vocalist, Best Male Blues Performer, and honored the band for Best Blues Album.
Which is a lot of awards. And they’re not just for decoration. The Bobby Patterson Band brings the kind of fast, passionate, hard-driving blues that gets people moving. Even people who said they weren’t going to dance.
Admission is free. All ages are welcome. Beverages and snacks will be available.
