Laura and Mike interviewed Dr. Richard Orndorff, Geology Professor at EWU. Rik talked about how EWU is now a polytechnic university and they tout hands on experience for their students. He talked about geostatistics and the climate hydrology interaction. We discussed the water problems throughout the West and that the issue has a governance problem that is difficult to solve. Rik discussed the problems with data centers and how they are often proposed in arid regions.  He talked about eastern Washington geology, the ice age floods and our possible climate future. We also did our underwriting announcement and three station ID’s.
