This evening, we reported on the impact of the federal shutdown on SNAP and medical coverage in Washington and Idaho, also about an emergency Spokane ordinance enacted to expedite staffing matters. We also covered Washington State Department of Resources’ assessment of the state’s fire season and the Spokane City Council’s update on its sales tax for affordable housing.
