Laura and Mike did a 90 minute interview with Spokane County Commissioner Amber Waldref.  We focused our discussion on the County’s update of their Comprehensive Plan, which is required by the Washington State Growth Management Act.  We discussed the new Climate chapter that will be part of the update.  Threats of wildfire, increased wildfire smoke and changes in water management are all expected as the climate warms. We also discussed planning for housing and challenges in both rural and urban settings.  We did our underwriting announcement and four station ID’s, starting at 12:00 PM.
