Since April is Jazz Appreciation Month we discussed some great jazz by African and African American musicians. April 4th was also the birthday of poet and scholar Maya Angelou, and it was the day that Dr. Martin Luther King was assassinated so we discussed this great individuals who had an impact on African American history.
