We discussed both the similarities of and differences between two locally offered peer-run substance recovery programs today. Our in-studio guest was Sean Stradling, while Tim joined us on the phone from Walla Walla. Each belongs to an organization offering free-of-charge recovery meetings here in Spokane—12 Step-based programs like Alcoholics Anonymous; and LifeRing—a secular multi-substance recovery program new to the Spokane area.
