September brings unique opportunities to experience this rare and exceptional instrument.

September 21st 7PM and 22nd 2PM at the Garland Theater enjoy the Academy award winning film on the big screen. The fascinating story in which a perfect red-colored violin inspires passion, making its way through three centuries over several owners and countries, and eventually ends up at an auction where it may find a new owner.  Directed by Francois Girard with music composed by John Corigliano.  Tickets $8 at fandango.com.  Media support by KYRS, Inlander and Spokane Symphony.

Then on October 6th and 7th, experience the red violin in person at The Fox! Elizabeth Pitcairn, the owner of the actual violin depicted in the film, The Red Violin, and will perform music based on the film’s Academy Award-winning score.
