SOS—Spokane is a staunchly progressive hour-long news and public affairs program airing weekly. The show addresses critical issues facing the Inland Northwest via research, in-depth news, information, analysis, and reasoned opinion. Its format includes conversations, interviews, debates, and presentations. Invited guests might be topical experts, activists, advocates, civic leaders, public servants, journalists and authors, newsmakers, whistleblowers, muckrakers, artists, academics, or simply informed citizens.
The aim of SOS—Spokane is to illuminate and dialogue the pressing local and regional, and occasionally specific national and/or international concerns of our KYRS listeners.
