Tonight’s show is among the very special, as we’re going to celebrate the ‘Life & Times of Tom Petty’ through his music and his own words. Our thoughts, prayers and music selection tonight will also be offered for the ‘Beautiful Souls’ lost and injured this week in Los Vegas… “May WE never need to offer another show like this again…”
A by-product of tonights show will be the start of a new series called, “Rock-N-Roll Roots”. This series is directly inspired by Tom Petty’s own words on the subject as he reflected on his own musical origins. Please listen to Tom’s ‘MusiCare Award’ acceptance speech in February of this year, and listen how the idea for “Rock-N-Roll Roots” was formed…
