We discuss Single payer healthcare, Democrats that are also gun owners and the me too movement. The seat was previously held by Republican, Michael Bahmgartner. Plus, new rules for Marijuana packaging, student walkouts in Spokane and across the state, and Governor Jay INslee’s executive order to boost funding for Orca conservation in Puget Sound.
The News team also talked about student walkouts this week in protest of current the gun control laws, recent allegations of domestic violence against former president of the NAACP in Spokane, Phil Tyler, and a new grant from Premera health insurance company to provide more beds for women experiencing homelessness in Spokane.
