We spoke with Philadelphia based artist Nile Livingston about a local show at the Richmond Gallery and her plans for the week she is staying in Spokane. We also spoke with Julien Cooper who was visiting Spokane from the south of France. He builds musical instruments and portable amps. Julien first learned the tradition of the kora in Mali and went on to design his own electric versions of the instrument. He played some music for us too. Rebecca Chadwell, from the Richmond Art Collective also stopped by.
