Host Taylor Weech talks with Terri Anderson, organizer and Co-Executive Director of the Tenants Union of Washington, Jeremy Logan, a tenant leader with the Tenants Union of Washington-Spokane, and Alfredo Llamedo, community activist and social worker who just completed a week-long hunger strike to draw awareness to the city’s harsh policies toward people experiencing homelessness, specifically the No Sit No Lie ordinance downtown.

Discussion includes information on the housing crisis in Spokane, the pipeline from housing insecure to homelessness, and how tenants and others can get involved in the struggle to build protections and rights for renters into local law.
